About George W. Gillemot

From Legacy to Lift-Off

George W. Gillemot was a WWII veteran, a pilot, and a self-made entrepreneur. Above all, he was someone who believed that hard work and curiosity could change the world. A well-traveled man, he ultimately chose northern Nevada as his home, drawn by its beauty and convinced of its immense potential to become the hub for aviation, drone, and aerospace development.

His greatest legacy, though, was his generosity. It brought the Gillemot Foundation to life, and his vision for northern Nevada continues to drive it forward.
